Topic for the CoTEDI traning regarding how can artificial intelligence facilitate teaching and learning needs for pedagogical coaches and childcare workers. [202501 Presentatie AI Pedagogiek KO 18 febr_BS1_NF_v2.pdf](https://github.com/user-attachments/files/22761436/202501.Presentatie.AI.Pedagogiek.KO.18.febr_BS1_NF_v2.pdf)

When you say AI, you also say algorithms: mathematical formulas that select and analyse information based on a quantity of data in order to arrive at a solution to a problem - this in reflection to computational thinking. An everyday example: an online shop that sells chocolate can use algorithms to quickly determine which types of people like which types of chocolate. Unlike in the past, today's algorithms have an increasingly greater capacity for self-learning, although the term “self-learning” should not be taken too literally. It can be compared to a child in primary school who acquires knowledge step by step. But when that child goes on to university at a later age, they are expected to have the necessary basic knowledge.

In order to maintain control over AI, it is necessary for AI experts, sociologists and lawyers to work together and engage in continuous dialogue to determine the standards and values that AI must meet. Only then can AI truly add value to society and the people who live in it. Therefore a training among pedagogocalcoaches and childcare workers to better understand opportunities and threads regarding AI for diversity and inclusion in collaboration with the CoTEDI-project.
